Nine museums managed by Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Culture and Sports recorded 2,760,274 visits in the first nine months of 2026, up 5% year on year, Bao Van Hoa reported. The total comprised 1,881,069 domestic visits and 879,205 international visits. Although the city has 25 museums, the 2.76 million figure applies only to those nine departmental institutions; private museums are reported separately. The measure counts visits, not unique individuals, since a person may attend more than once or visit several museums.
