Chernin Entertainment will lead film and television adaptations of ARC Raiders and The Finals under an arrangement with Nexon-owned developer Embark Studios, Variety reported on October 5. ARC Raiders follows scavengers facing machines and rival players on a future Earth, while The Finals places competitors inside a virtual combat game show. Embark’s creative teams are expected to work with Chernin as the properties expand into new storytelling formats. The announcement establishes the production partnership and development direction; it does not mean that the adaptations have been completed or given release dates.
