Vietnam's men's golf team made the cut after the opening 36 holes at the Asian Games, SGGP reports. Nguyễn Anh Minh, Nguyễn Tuấn Anh and Lê Khánh Hưng combined for an 11th-place team total of one over par, inside the 12-team qualifying cutoff.
Anh Minh was tied 30th individually at two over. Vietnam's women's team finished 11th and missed its cut. These results establish the men's progression to the remaining rounds rather than a medal or final overall placing.
