Vietnam's men's volleyball team finished tenth at the 2026 Asian Games after losing 3–1 to Chinese Taipei in the ninth-place play-off, according to Bóng đá Plus. Vietnam took the second set 28–26 but could not maintain the balance in the subsequent sets. In the final, Iran retained gold by beating Japan 3–1, with set scores of 28–26, 19–25, 25–21 and 26–24.
