VFF has announced fines and three-match suspensions for Dong Thap's Phung Khac Le and An Giang players Tran Gia Nam and Le Quang Vinh in the 2026 national third division. The sanctions appear in the tournament's second notice, published on October 17.
Each player was fined VND7.5 million. All three decisions concern conduct towards opposing players during An Giang's match against Dong Thap on October 15, but apply separately to the individuals named.
Separate disciplinary decisions
Decision 1030 covers Phung Khac Le, 1031 covers Tran Gia Nam and 1032 covers Le Quang Vinh. All were issued on October 16, 2026.
The federation's disciplinary board described deliberate physical infringement against opposing players. The notice does not provide a basis for adding motives or a more detailed account of an unspecified confrontation.
The listed financial penalties total VND22.5 million across the three decisions. Each individual also receives a three-match suspension; the ban is not shared between the players.
Three specified rounds
VFF explicitly lists rounds III, IV and V on October 18, 21 and 24 as the fixtures Phung Khac Le cannot play. The same dates are listed separately for the two An Giang players.
Dong Thap therefore has one player named in this notice and An Giang two. The decisions concern this third-division competition, rather than every team representing the same localities.
Tournament organisers notified clubs, teams, match supervisors and referees to coordinate implementation. The October 15 match, October 16 decisions and October 17 publication are distinct dates in the disciplinary record.
