Vietnam's aviation authority has approved navigation-system and lighting inspection and calibration flights at Long Thành airport for 11–19 October, Báo Chính phủ reports. ACV and related agencies must coordinate safety, aeronautical notices and oversight. The work forms part of preparations for a targeted December 2026 commercial opening. Approval of the inspection window does not establish that calibration is complete or that all commercial operations have already been authorised.
