Different occasions, connected activities
The plan brings together the Great National Unity festival on 18 November, Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on 23 November and Vietnam Culture Day on 24 November. Proposed activities include heritage exhibitions, artistic performances, sport and presentations of cultural work.
It encourages exchanges between communities and religions, amateur competitions, traditional-arts teaching and craft transmission. Traditional martial arts, tug of war, stick pushing, crossbow shooting and boat racing are among the sporting forms mentioned. Community libraries, mobile libraries and reading initiatives provide another route to participation beyond large events.
Longer-term projects extend to digital access
The province also proposes digital museums and libraries, virtual-reality experiences and QR-code interpretation. Heritage education in schools and community-tourism models are further elements.
Resources identified include Sa Huỳnh heritage, bài chòi, gong culture, Lý Sơn, Măng Đen, historical sites and craft villages. The intention is to connect preservation with livelihoods, but future visitor numbers or revenues have not been established. A provincial culture conference is proposed every five years from 2027 to review progress and solutions. This is an account of the province's programme, not a blanket legal finding about nationwide holiday rights or admission charges. Individual venues' implementing notices will determine their specific offers and arrangements.
