The Mỹ Thuận Project Management Board has submitted a prefeasibility report on the proposed Cần Thơ 2 bridge and approach roads to the Ministry of Construction for appraisal and approval. Government News reported on September 24 that proposed investment exceeds VND 27.05 trillion; the main bridge would be about 870 metres long with six lanes.
