Da Nang's People's Council approved a list of two proposed commercial-housing pilot sites under Resolution 171/2024/QH15 at its October 6 session, VietnamPlus reported. The list covers Diamond Square in Hai Chau ward and Sapphire Coast in Lien Chieu ward. The pilot mechanism concerns negotiated acquisition of land-use rights or use of existing rights for housing projects. City agencies are to review planning, population requirements and legal procedures. Inclusion on the pilot list does not mean the developments have been completed or handed over to buyers.
