Hạnh Thúy, Kelbin Lei, Ngọc Thảo and Phương Bella have reunited at Thanh Niên's studio to revisit Tiệm bánh Hoàng tử bé thirteen years later. Directed by Văn Công Viễn and broadcast in 2013, the sitcom is attracting renewed nostalgic viewing and online recreations.
Characters remain familiar to viewers
Hạnh Thúy, who played Bông Neo, says audiences still recognise her through the role in many places. She values its place in viewers' childhood memories despite having an extensive acting career. Her estimate of how many fans know her through the sitcom reflects personal impressions.
Kelbin Lei played Kevin, leader of the fictional Tiramisu group. He subsequently shifted into fashion as a stylist, creative director and fashion personality, while founding his own brand. He welcomed seeing colleagues follow different careers while retaining shared memories.
Later careers take different directions
Ngọc Thảo remembers San San and the production's family-like atmosphere as an important part of her youth. She later acted in Mùa oải hương năm ấy, Vua bánh mì and other projects. She now works less regularly in films, appearing at events and making sales livestreams and daily-life vlogs.
Phương Bella, who played Lucy, says she is moved when viewers describe her as part of their younger years. Following later acting and Lady Q music activities, she shifted toward health, beauty and financial-planning businesses.
Other cast members have continued performing or chosen different work. The revived clips belong to the earlier production; the interview does not announce a remake or new season. The reunion concerns changing lives and enduring audience memories.
