Đồng Nai beat SHB Đà Nẵng 1-0 at home on November 6 for their first victory of the 2026-27 V.League season. Vulic scored the only goal from the penalty spot after Công Phượng was fouled in the area. Sài Gòn Giải Phóng reported that it was also Đồng Nai's first league goal of the campaign.
The hosts had conceded 11 times without scoring before the match. The three points lifted them off the bottom at that stage. Công Phượng told Báo Bóng Đá that the result was important and he hoped it could provide a platform for the team to improve.
Penalty proves decisive
According to Sài Gòn Giải Phóng, Công Phượng started and won the penalty in the 39th minute. Đà Nẵng players protested, but the referee upheld the decision after consulting VAR and booked Quế Ngọc Hải. Vulic converted to end the home side's wait for a league goal.
Thanh Niên reported that goalkeeper Phạm Văn Phong saved efforts from Bryan Ly and Ivan Saponjic in first-half stoppage time. Đà Nẵng pushed forward after the interval but could not find an equaliser, allowing Đồng Nai to protect their lead until full time.
A snapshot of the table
Thanh Niên said the victory put Đồng Nai on four points in 13th place when its report was published, with HAGL temporarily bottom on three. Those positions reflect the table at that moment and do not include later results.
Báo Bóng Đá reported that Công Phượng was substituted in the 63rd minute. Afterwards, he credited the collective effort under coach Nguyễn Việt Thắng and thanked supporters for staying with the team. Follow V.League results for the wider competition.
