The second World Culture Festival in Hanoi is scheduled for October 1–4 at the Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long. Báo Văn Hóa reported that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented the plans to diplomatic representatives and international organisations at a September 21 briefing.
The programme is set to include 45 cultural spaces, 35 food stalls and 20 international performing groups. Film screenings, traditional clothing displays and experiences combining heritage with technology are also planned. The September meeting was a preparatory briefing for the festival scheduled in October.
