Officials attended FIFA's preparation program in Katowice, Poland, from August 30 to September 3. She also completed mandatory fitness testing supervised by VFF.

The tournament runs from September 5 to 27. Her appointment adds to the presence of Vietnamese women officials at global youth competitions.
