Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra urged architects to focus on living environments and community interests. She highlighted social housing, schools, hospitals and public spaces.
She also called for modern development to preserve cultural identity, with climate, energy and resilience considered from the planning and design stages. Digital technology and AI were discussed as tools to improve creativity and professional effectiveness.
The new term will emphasize organizational strength, advisory work and support for young architects. The congress brought together 500 official delegates representing more than 7,000 association members nationwide.
