Paintings by Vietnamese children celebrating Vietnam–Cuba friendship were displayed at the Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long during Hanoi's World Culture Festival, Báo Văn Hóa reported. The activity is associated with the 2026 centenary of Fidel Castro's birth. Through colour and imagery, the young artists expressed solidarity and affection between the two countries. Sixteen-year-old Nguyễn Đăng Hải Nam said reading a book about Castro had inspired his painting.
