Indonesia is pursuing advanced data processing and geological analysis to support its ambition of producing one million barrels of oil daily by 2030. VietnamPlus reports actual September 2026 output of approximately 571,731 barrels a day, compared with a 2026 target of 610,000. Jakarta is seeking more effective exploration and higher productivity from existing fields. Current output, the annual target and the 2030 ambition are separate benchmarks rather than simultaneously achieved production levels.
