The Government Inspectorate has recommended decisive action on vacant or inefficiently used public properties in Quang Ngai. VietnamPlus says direct inspections at 12 agencies and organisations identified 27 vacant properties and incomplete legal records. Inspectors also requested a review of land-rent exemptions for the Dung Quat refinery expansion, which their findings said did not qualify. The recommendations seek better asset management, proper revenue collection and prevention of budget losses.
