Vietnam exported approximately 1.4 million tonnes of coffee in the first nine months, up 15.4% year on year, while export value fell more than 7% to USD6.54 billion. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment reports an average export price of about USD4,537 per tonne, down nearly 20%. Increased shipment volume therefore did not offset lower prices. Recovering global supply continues to put pressure on the coffee market.
