The VN-Index fell for a fourth consecutive session on 12 October, briefly moving below 1,720 before narrowing its decline near the close, VnExpress reported. Selling in Vingroup-linked shares weighed on the index even as advancing stocks slightly outnumbered decliners. Ho Chi Minh City exchange turnover was nearly VND13 trillion, and foreign investors continued net selling. The 1,670 level mentioned in analysis was a scenario, rather than an observed market reading.
