Some Vietnamese fans plan to spend VND15–40 million on Big Bang's Hanoi concerts, according to VnExpress interviews published on October 17. Long-standing memories and the opportunity to see G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung together help explain the individual budgets.
The shows are planned for October 24 and 25 at My Dinh. Organisers say tickets sold out but have not disclosed the total issued. Venue capacity is not the same as confirmed attendance or sales.
Different personal budgets
Hoai Phuong, a 29-year-old fan from Ho Chi Minh City, expects to spend approximately VND40 million on the trip with his wife, including tickets, flights, accommodation and clothing.
Hanoi resident Bui Hang plans about VND15 million for two nights' tickets, clothing and makeup. Living locally reduces her travel and hotel costs.
These examples describe particular interviewees rather than average spending across the audience.
Growing up with the music
Researcher Nguyen Ha Linh links the appeal to fans who followed the group as students and now have established incomes. The concerts also reconnect them with earlier stages of their lives.
Line-up changes and interruptions over two decades make the three-member appearance feel especially significant to those supporters. Ticket searching, preparation and community meetings extend the experience beyond the performance.
The report places this interest within Vietnam's expanding concert market. The two events remain ahead, so actual attendance and revenue cannot yet be established from fans' planned spending or the organisers' sold-out description.
