The Swiss Football Association confirmed that it had withdrawn support for Gianni Infantino’s bid for another FIFA presidential term, The Guardian reported. Its executive committee reversed the position endorsed in June at a meeting this week.

The association cited concerns over governance, transparency and decision-making after reassessment. The withdrawal changes the Swiss organization’s stance and does not establish the outcome of a FIFA election.
