Vietnam’s League of Legends team won all three Group A matches at the 2026 Asian Games, beating Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates. A 1-0 win over the UAE in the final group game secured first place and a semifinal berth.
BongdaPlus said Vietnam would face the runner-up from Group B on October 1. South Korea, Chinese Taipei, India and Hong Kong were still awaiting the September 30 fixtures to determine that group’s standings. The semifinal opponent was therefore unconfirmed in the report. Medal matches are scheduled for October 2.
