Vietnam's League of Legends team earned an Asian Games bronze medal after losing 0-2 to Chinese Taipei in the semifinals, Báo Văn Hóa reports. Vietnam built an early lead in the opening game but lost control as its opponent secured key objectives.

It is Vietnam's second esports bronze at the Games, following Naraka: Bladepoint. The medal is an established result under the competition format rather than a reference to an upcoming bronze-medal playoff.
