Vietnamese model Mai Anh is competing at Supermodel International 2026 in Thailand ahead of a final planned for October 24 in Bangkok. She describes the experience as an opportunity to test herself and learn internationally despite her professional modelling and catwalk-coaching background.

Preparation extends beyond runway skills

Born in 1996 in Hải Phòng, Mai Anh is 1.74 metres tall. She reached the top ten at Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025, won its sports award and placed among the top five in the beach category.

She graduated in business administration from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City and also works as a lecturer. Her preparation includes nutrition, runway presentation, posing, camera expression, conversational English and interview skills.

Mai Anh acknowledges pressure from competing against models with international experience. She wants to strengthen stage confidence and adaptability rather than rely only on previous training. The report describes her as participating positively in early accompanying activities.

Previous victories provide context

Supermodel International began in 2011 as Supermodel of Asia Pacific before adopting its current name and expanding. Vietnam has had two winners: Dương Nguyễn Khả Trang in 2018 and Bùi Quỳnh Hoa in 2022.

Those earlier achievements help explain interest in this year's representative but do not determine her result. At the October 20 reporting point, the competition was still in progress and the final had not occurred. Mai Anh hopes the trip will provide further career opportunities and practical lessons in presentation and working internationally.
