Eva Olid says Manchester United Women still has fitness details to check before visiting Charlton in the WSL. The club's October 16 update describes ongoing assessments after players returned from international duty.
Final decisions await checks
Olid expected clearer information later that evening or the following morning. She had not confirmed the final squad at her press conference.
Her comment that there was no newly confirmed complete unavailability in the assessed group should not be taken to mean every previously absent player has recovered.
Lea Schuller withdrew from Germany's squad through illness during the break, according to the report. Her position forms part of the assessment rather than an announced final selection.
Established absences remain separate
Jayde Riviere has not played since the opening fixture against London City Lionesses and continues working towards a return. Emma Watson has also yet to feature this season because of injury.
Fridolina Rolfo is unavailable, while Celin Bizet Donnum is continuing her own return process. Those situations do not disappear simply because the international window has ended.
The break has provided additional rehabilitation time, but readiness still requires individual assessment. The club has not guaranteed any of those players a place against Charlton.
The match resumes domestic action, with a 2pm BST Sunday kickoff equivalent to 8pm in Vietnam. United plans to announce the full squad one hour beforehand.
The present information is therefore an interim fitness update. Further checks and official selection will determine Olid's options rather than a blanket conclusion about the health of the entire squad.
