Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and fisheries exports in the first nine months are estimated at US$56.3 billion, up 7.8% year on year, VietnamPlus reports, citing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. The sector's estimated trade surplus was US$16.9 billion.
The ministry continues to target at least US$74 billion for the full year through market expansion, higher product value and procedural reform. The nine-month estimate and annual objective are separate figures; US$74 billion has not yet been reported as achieved exports.
