Two venues and schedules
Costa Rica, Guyana, Jamaica and Nicaragua will play at Managua's Polideportivo Alexis Argüello from 27 to 29 November. Barbados, Cuba, Ecuador and Venezuela are scheduled at Gimnasio Ciudad de La Asunción in Isla Margarita from 26 to 28 November. Each team meets the other three in its group once. Four teams in total will progress. The schedules and confirmed field set up future contests; they do not establish group winners or runners-up.
Different routes into the field
Antigua and Barbuda and Barbados originally secured the leading two places in the Caribbean Pre-Qualifiers. Following Antigua and Barbuda's withdrawal, Guyana entered as the next eligible Caribbean team under the FIBA ranking. Costa Rica qualified by winning the Central American Pre-Qualifiers, while Ecuador was designated South America's representative. Cuba, Jamaica, Nicaragua and Venezuela enter after failing to progress from the first round of the 2027 World Cup Americas Qualifiers. Those different paths converge in the two November groups. Participation or hosting status alone does not settle qualification: the 2026 pre-qualifiers lead to another stage starting in 2027 before the event named for 2029.
