Park Hang-seo protested after Kanchanaburi FC conceded a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Muang Loei United on October 17. The Thai League 2 match had five minutes of announced second-half added time, but Thiago Moreira levelled in the sixth added minute.

Patrick Marcelino had put the visitors ahead in the 75th minute. Play eventually ended in the eighth added minute after an unsuccessful Kanchanaburi free-kick.

Officials face protests after the whistle

Park entered the field seeking referee Rangsan Kangchainguan after full-time and was restrained by an assistant and the fourth official. He continued his complaints near the tunnel, with police later escorting the match officials.

The coach criticised the handling of the closing stages. Muang Loei executive Nattakorn Pattanachaikul said he understood Kanchanaburi's frustration but also argued that the visitors had repeatedly delayed play, offering a different view of the additional time.

Separate earlier case provides background

Park has disputed other decisions this season. In a separate match at Phrae United on October 9, Kanchanaburi challenged a penalty award. FAT's refereeing committee subsequently found that the opposing player had fallen without a foul, and the referee received a six-week suspension.

That sanction concerned the Phrae match and does not establish any finding about the latest draw.

Kanchanaburi sit sixth with 10 points, behind leaders Khon Kaen United on 15 and second-placed Chainat Hornbill on 13. The top two earn automatic promotion, while teams finishing third to sixth contest the remaining place through play-offs. The late equaliser therefore cost points in Park's promotion campaign.
