Paul Scholes believes Manchester United need to rebuild their defence, particularly at centre-back, Bongda24h reports. The former midfielder criticised their failure to protect a lead in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham and questioned recruitment decisions. He argued that Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martínez do not provide the foundation required for a Premier League title challenge. These are Scholes's assessments of his former club, rather than transfer decisions or a settled verdict on the title race.
