PVcomBank's board has approved a list of seven prospective investors for a private share placement under its 2026 capital-increase plan. They registered to buy a combined 300 million shares, equivalent to 25% of the expected post-issue share count, VnExpress reported on October 16.

The bank approved an offer price of VND13,628 per share in late September. Selling all 300 million shares at that price would bring in more than VND4 trillion. Naming participants does not establish that purchases or payments have been completed.

Five companies and two individuals

Four corporate investors registered for approximately 59–60 million shares each, giving each a prospective holding close to 5% after issuance. Phuong Dong Investment, Trading and Financial Consulting registered for more than 30.28 million shares, or 2.53%.

According to PVcomBank's disclosures cited in the report, the five companies held no shares before the proposed placement and had no stated relationships with the issuer or the named governance and management bodies.

Individual investors Pham Thanh Tien and Cao Hung Cuong registered for almost 16.5 million and 14.49 million additional shares respectively. Each would hold close to 5% after the placement.

Proposed charter-capital increase

The plan would raise charter capital from VND9 trillion to VND12 trillion. The seven investors would collectively own more than 388.3 million shares, approximately 32.3%, including existing individual holdings.

Foreign ownership could fall from 8.05% at end-2025 to around 6% after issuance. These are projected outcomes of the capital plan rather than a confirmed post-transaction ownership structure.
