Authorities in Quang Ninh are stepping up inspections of aquaculture structures installed without authorization in coastal waters, according to VietnamPlus. In Mong Cai 3, a campaign beginning in early October involves police, border guards, infrastructure staff and local officials. Measures include requiring the removal of non-compliant cages, floats and equipment, alongside efforts to encourage voluntary relocation and reduce losses. The report concerns structures identified as violating the rules, rather than all marine-farming households. It does not provide a completed removal total or a quantified enforcement-fine result.
