Sacombank announced a VND10 trillion lending programme for new corporate clients in import-export activities and foreign-invested businesses, quoting an annual rate of 7.9%. VnExpress reported that it runs through December 31 for working capital, supplier payments and year-end orders.

Separate programmes for different clients

The new offer differs from a programme of almost VND100 trillion introduced in August for existing corporate customers. That earlier package quoted annual rates of 8.5–9.5%.

Sacombank said it reduced its margin to 0.79% a year under the earlier support policy. The margin is distinct from the customer interest rate. Likewise, the VND10 trillion programme size is not a disclosed amount already disbursed.

The report describes financing availability as dependent on the selected product and applicable conditions, rather than one uniform offer for every business.

Contracts, letters of credit and cash flow

The bank lists financing against contracts, letters of credit and export-document sets to bridge the period between production, delivery and payment. Depending on conditions, financing can reach 100% of transaction value without collateral.

Import services include UPAS letters of credit, negotiable letters of credit and foreign-exchange risk tools. Other offerings cover account management, international payments, payroll and corporate cards.

For FDI clients, the bank highlights foreign exchange, cash management and supply-chain finance. The programme’s next phase is implementation against eligible clients’ specific transactions before December 31. The quoted rate, financing percentage and total package size describe separate aspects of that offer.
