SHB and Vietnam’s Tax Department have agreed to help businesses, household businesses and individual traders access electronic-tax services. The Government News reported plans for policy guidance, technical assistance and connections between banking services and tax-related needs.
Support across the electronic process
The cooperation includes guidance on eTax Mobile and the electronic-tax system. The intended support spans bank-account registration, access, filing and payment. That describes an implementation plan, rather than proof that every system is already fully integrated.
The parties also plan information-receiving and technical-support channels. Tax officials will provide materials, specialists and training for SHB staff who assist customers with procedures and electronic applications.
Deputy tax chief Mai Sơn emphasised administrative reform alongside modernisation. Areas discussed include sales management, tax declarations, electronic invoices, digital signatures and payments, particularly for smaller enterprises and household businesses.
Choice and data protection remain conditions
The agreement also provides a basis for SHB services involving payments, cash-flow management, financing and other business needs. Expected benefits do not establish that every customer has received credit or the same product.
According to the report, implementation must be transparent and respect taxpayers’ choice of bank, electronic-invoice provider, accounting software, sales software and related services. Personal-data protection is another stated requirement.
The next steps are staff training, practical guidance and the support channels described in the agreement. The source supplies no user totals or measured time savings yet, so operational outcomes remain to be demonstrated.
