Vietnam and Tanzania held an economic, trade and investment forum in Dar es Salaam on October 5, Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade reported. Officials and businesses discussed markets, investment policies and complementary opportunities in agriculture, processing, energy and telecommunications. Vietnamese representatives said bilateral trade was about $400 million in 2025 and rose 25.7% in the first eight months of 2026. Those figures describe trade over the stated periods, rather than the value of new orders signed at the forum.
