The VN-Index closed the October 5 session at about 1,753 points, up more than 15 points and ending a five-session losing streak, VnExpress reported. VIC rose 3.6% to VND232,000 and contributed around 13 points to the benchmark’s gain, while VHM and VRE also advanced. The recovery was uneven across sectors. Turnover on the Ho Chi Minh City exchange was approximately VND13.5 trillion, lower than the previous session, and foreign investors remained net sellers. The session shows the influence of large-cap shares but does not establish the direction of subsequent trading.
