WWE and Disney have announced two days of events at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. Variety reports that the John Cena Classic is scheduled for December 14, followed by an Avengers: Doomsday-themed Worlds Collide on December 15. The film is set for December 18.
Different formats across two days
Cody Rhodes is confirmed for the John Cena Classic, which draws on WWE talent. Members of Club WWE, the organisation's fan-membership programme, can vote in real time for their favourite superstar of the night. The selected performer receives the John Cena Classic Championship.
The event will stream live on Netflix as a special edition of Monday Night Raw. Worlds Collide then brings WWE performers together with talent from AAA, the lucha libre organisation acquired by WWE in 2025. The arrangement expands WWE's existing relationship with ESPN while connecting the second event with the film campaign.
Fan activities and ticket dates
WWE and Fanatics plan WWE World for both days, offering exclusive merchandise and photo and autograph opportunities. Co-branded Avengers: Doomsday products, including championship belts, are planned for WWE World, WWEShop.com and selected Disney stores.
Two-day combination tickets are due on general sale through Ticketmaster on November 13 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. A general presale begins on November 12 at the same time.
The companies say further event and fan-experience details will be announced in the coming weeks. Those updates will build on the two-day programme now outlined.
