Thirty-eight Vietnamese businesses are attending Sial Paris 2026 from October 17 to 21 at Paris Nord Villepinte. The Ministry of Industry and Trade reports a 354-square-metre national pavilion, its largest participation by the measures stated.
The trade-promotion agency is organising the delegation to meet importers, distributors and business partners. Attendance creates opportunities but does not establish a confirmed volume of newly signed contracts.
Products and market requirements
Exhibits include rice products, cashews, fresh and canned produce, pepper, cinnamon, star anise, fruit drinks and processed foods. The pavilion emphasises quality and production capacity.
Some companies present products meeting standards such as BRC Food, HACCP, Kosher and Halal. Meetings also offer information about packaging, certification and consumer preferences.
The agency and Vietnam's trade office in France have invited relevant buyers. The ministry reports international visitors and discussions from the first day.
Historical results and future events
The organisers cite more than three thousand visits to the Vietnamese pavilion in 2024. That edition generated approximately three hundred discussions with contract potential and two hundred requiring continued negotiations.
Those are historical opportunities, not five hundred new contracts at the 2026 fair. Market intelligence also helps businesses adapt their products and approach.
Vietnam Foodexpo is planned for November 11–14 at SECC in Ho Chi Minh City. It remains an upcoming event.
The current participation demonstrates direct outreach by food exporters; resulting orders and export value must be established through completed business rather than inferred from pavilion size or attendance.
