AgriS shareholders elected Nguyễn Trọng Hiền and Nguyễn Hải Tâm as additional independent board members at the company’s annual meeting. Government News reports that the board now has eight members, four of them independent.

Governance decisions and reported results

The meeting also approved revisions to corporate governance and board operating rules, together with matters relating to the company charter. Those decisions are distinct from the company’s longer-term growth plans.

For the completed 2025–26 financial year, AgriS reported consolidated net revenue of VND 26,733 billion, equal to 101% of its plan, according to the government report. Pre-tax profit was VND 956 billion and after-tax profit exceeded VND 846 billion, up 1.43% from the preceding year. Sugar sales volume exceeded one million tonnes.

Sugar contributed more than 81% of revenue. Non-sugar products accounted for about VND 4,865 billion, or nearly 19%, including rice revenue of more than VND 2,600 billion on sales above 210,000 tonnes.

Dividend proposal and future direction

Shareholders approved a 6% stock dividend plan with an expected issuance value above VND 560 billion from retained after-tax earnings. Approval of the plan does not itself mean the shares have been issued.

For the period to 2030–31, AgriS outlined expansion around sugar and products including coconut, rice, bananas, pineapple, food and beverages. It described three connected areas: agricultural sourcing, processing and trade.

Management also discussed restarting a Tây Ninh plant and expanding capacity and growing areas in Cambodia. These are investment directions, with delivery and financial results to be assessed as they occur.
