Phạm Quang Huy exited the Asian Games men's 25m rapid-fire pistol final with 20 points, Báo Văn Hóa reports. He did not survive the elimination stage after his Pakistani opponent advanced to 21 points.

The result completed Vietnam's shooting programme with one bronze medal in the women's team 10m air pistol event. Quang Huy did not win a medal in this competition, and the women's team achievement should be kept separate from his individual result.
