Bắc Ninh attracted combined domestic and foreign investment equivalent to more than US$18.74 billion in the first nine months of 2026, up 22.5% year on year, VietnamPlus reported. In FDI alone, it licensed 264 new projects with US$1.6771 billion registered and approved adjustments to 222 projects adding US$2.3059 billion. The US$18.74 billion total includes domestic capital and is not entirely realised FDI. The report links investment attraction with procedural reforms and an emphasis on high-quality, high-technology projects.
