The EU says it has reached an agreement with China to moderate hybrid-car exports to the bloc, The Guardian reports. Trade commissioner Maroš Šefčovič said the arrangement could reduce the relevant exports by more than half over the next four years. Talks will continue on company price undertakings, rare earths and market access. The projected reduction is the EU’s assessment of a possible future effect, rather than an observed export decline or confirmation that implementation is complete.
