FPT Korea’s next steps include closer research links and cooperation in AI, semiconductors and drones, according to reports by VietnamPlus and FPT on September 9.

At a Seoul meeting the previous day, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung encouraged the company to learn from Korean research centres and bring suitable practices to Vietnam. He also called for stronger connections between Vietnamese technology businesses in South Korea.

FPT’s account says the unit has more than 300 employees in South Korea, supported by about 3,000 in Vietnam serving that market. The company is marking ten years of operations in South Korea. The technology areas described are intended directions; the reports do not announce new contracts.
