Vietnam’s Industry and Trade Ministry and Finance Ministry set a retail ceiling of VND 26,397 per litre for E5RON92 petrol in the September 24 pricing round, up VND 1,258 from the previous ceiling. E10RON95-III has a separate ceiling of VND 27,087 per litre, up VND 1,451.
The ceiling for 0.05S diesel rose VND 552 to VND 30,497 per litre, while that for 180CST 3.5S fuel oil rose VND 276 to VND 19,472 per kilogram. Fuel wholesalers and distributors may set the timing of their retail price adjustments, but cannot make them before 3 p.m. on September 24.
