Green SM and B2B platform Elife signed a memorandum on October 16 to integrate electric ride services into an international partner network. VnExpress reported the agreement on October 17.

The proposed arrangement would let travellers book Green SM rides through familiar partner applications rather than download a separate platform. Signing the memorandum does not establish that every integration is already operational.

Access through existing partners

The companies plan work across Southeast Asian, European and US markets. Green SM hopes to reach an Elife partner network described as having approximately one hundred million monthly active users, particularly international visitors to Vietnam.

That figure concerns potential network reach, not new Green SM passengers or completed bookings. The report does not provide revenue, resulting trip numbers or a market-by-market completion timetable.

The partners also intend to coordinate tourist offers and promotional activities alongside technical integration.

Company expectations

GSM representative Tran Thi Thu Phuong described the memorandum as part of global expansion plans. Elife chief executive Dan Deng said adding electric vehicles could broaden transport options while allowing partners to maintain their own brands.

Those are the participating companies' expectations. The report also cites Mordor Intelligence forecasts for growth in the global electric-taxi market, from US$29.54 billion in 2025 to US$110.56 billion in 2031. That forecast is distinct from either company's achieved results.

The confirmed development is the signed memorandum and proposed connection work. Its effect on travellers, bookings and distribution depends on subsequent implementation.
