Artist Ha Myo is scheduled to perform Xam singing at the October 1 opening of Hanoi’s World Culture Festival. She said she wants to present folk material and traditional instruments through a contemporary arrangement that international audiences can readily engage with.

Bao Van Hoa reported that she sees the performance as an introduction to deeper exploration of Vietnamese culture.
