Ho Chi Minh City’s ports handled more than 256 million tonnes in January–August 2026, up 9.2% year on year, VietnamPlus reported on September 9.
The city aims to connect ports with industrial parks and transport networks. Its 2026–2030 programme targets annual logistics-revenue growth of 13–16%; that is a goal, not a result already achieved.
